Carla Freeman, our newest associate, was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2010. She practices in all areas of general civil law and civil litigation. She has been a qualified mediator since the Spring of 2009. Carla is excited about working with her clients to protect their interests and achieve their goals in an expedient and cost effective manner. She looks forward increasing her legal skills and to building her practice.
Carla earned her undergraduate degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, in 2006. She majored in business administration with concentrations in finance and marketing. At Trinity, she was on the Dean's list, a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Fraternity, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In addition, she was the captain of the trap and skeet team and a member of Sigma Theta Tau sorority.
Carla graduated from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas in 2010. She was on the senior staff of the Law Review, the Dean's List, and a Dean's Scholastic Scholarship recipient. During law school, she studied abroad at the University of Granada in Spain. Carla later was privileged to work as an intern for Federal District Judge Lynn N. Hughes in Houston.
Carla is a 5th generation Katy, Texas resident where her family runs a rice farm and ranch. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, hunting, fishing, skeet shooting, and helping out on the ranch.
